King’s Day Sale 2017

This year is special, a year when we celebrate 10 years of our great community – Delft MaMa. Thanks to the vision of one lady, our Lucie Herraiz Cunningham, a foundation has started that over the years blossomed into the amazing organization that we know today. A community no less war than a family which accepts all and provides help, support and friendship to international mothers in a challenging moment of their lives.

To mark this special anniversary we are arranging two very important events. For the first time Delft MaMa is organizing a sale on King’s Day. The money that we earn on the 27th of April will provide resources for our activities, most importantly materials for a large mosaic that we are going to put together under supervision of Nan Deardorff MacClain on a big, currently unattractive wall at the Achtertuin playground in the city center.

Before bringing to life this lovely community project we need to roll up our sleeves and prepare a lavish sale that will make ”Delftenaren” eager to wait for next year’s rerun:) That means we need volunteers and as much donations as we can get. Annything worth selling from books, toys and clothes to all those little & big things that are catching dust piled in your attic&sheds are welcome!

Drop your contributions on:

25th of April from 15pm to 19pm @ Drie Akersstrrat 3.
(Or)
11th or 21st April from 10am to 12pm @ kindergarten KDV Vlinderstruik at Lodewijk van Deysselhof 165.

Those who are unable to deliver themselves and are eager to contribute can call us on 0633727710 or 0683583054 or send a pm to Tarja van Veldhoven or Tatjana Lisjak. We’ll be happy to do a pick up whenever it’s suitable.

Sale Day Spot info:

Nieuwe Langendijk and in additional spot in Vlamingstraat 36.
Depending on weather, sale will start at 8am and end arround 16 pm.

If you can spare two hours and join our little & merry selling team we promise a bribe in shape of tompouce and delicious homemade appeltaart ;).

Hope you can support in any way. Because Delft MaMa is all of us 🙂
